Royal Jordanian Airlines (Amman) according to Airline Route, intends to operate its new Boeing 787-8 Dreamliners on the Amman-Chicago (O’Hare) (six weekly flights starting on October 1), Amman-Montreal (Trudeau)-Detroit (twice-weekly starting October 2) and Amman-New York (JFK) (four weekly flights starting on October 2) routes. The new type will replace the Airbus A330s and A340s on the North American routes.
Royal Jordanian has 11 787-8s on order including four on lease.
